Volcano Vineyards Wins TWO GOLDS at the 2008 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition

The largest competition of American wines was a bit more generous to the state of Oregon this year with Oregon wineries winning 8 gold medals. (Last year, wineries from Oregon won a mere three golds - and for those of you keeping track, we did indeed win one of those). This year, our Volcano Vineyards 2006 Syrah Lakeside Vineyard/Serenade Vineyard won gold, as did our Volcano Vineyards Rogue Valley Lava Red Blend. We also won three silvers for our 2005 Syrah Lakeside Vineyard, 2005 Merlot and 2006 Merlot (all Rogue Valley).
