Volcano Vineyards 2004 Syrah takes GOLD MEDAL in San Francisco

A Gold for the Syrah, and a Silver for the Merlot at the 2007 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition. This is the largest competition of domestically produced wine in the US. There were over 100 wines on our syrah category and only six gold medals were awarded. And, we were one of only three gold medal winners from the state of Oregon (Erath's Pinot Noir in the $45 and above category and King Estate's Pinot Gris in the $25 and above category were the other two). We are psyched!
